3. Join the Class of 2016 Facebook group.It's a great way to get tips and meet other accepted students.
4. Prepare your resume.You're gonna need it! A strong resume will come in handy getting involved on and off-campus.
5. Start a LinkedIn page.It's never too early to start networking, this will be invaluable not only in college but beyond.
6. Learn more about Emerson.Check out episodes of The Common Agenda and FastForward Rewind to get a feel for the Emerson way of life. (Why not check out some of our other shows while you're at it?)
7. Get excited!Ask anyone (ask us), college is an amazing opportunity - make the most of every day (and why not, you're paying for it!)
8. Get prepared and make lists for packing.It'll be worth the time to make sure you don't arrive at college without something important.
9. Explore Boston before you arrive.Watch episodes from last year's Backyard Boston to learn about the city and get excited for our new season premiering during your orientation week.
10. Share your talents!As much as you'll learn from your classes, share your gifts and talents with others. You'll learn from teaching and start networking with people who'll be valuable friends and colleagues.
